What We Do

For over 30 years, we have been in the business of empowering great talent to find creative solutions, build variant views, and grow our business by bringing their ideas to life.

Our Asia-Pacific offices are a key part of our global growth strategy, and our long/short equities, systematic, and global macro businesses have robust presences in the region.

Commitment

Since 2006, our presence in Asia Pacific has been a strategic priority that we view as crucial to our firm’s success—and we believe the best days are yet to come.

“Great teams are built, not found. We partner with founders to define what ‘great’ looks like, calibrate the bar, and run disciplined, transparent searches. Lessons I carry from Box’s pre- and post-IPO scaling and my time leading executive talent at a16z and Comcast Ventures still apply: write a crisp spec, source broadly, reference deeply, and onboard like it’s day zero. There are many ways to fill a role here, and we coach companies to attract leaders, keep them growing, and build hiring muscles that compound over time.”

Development

We offer a culture of mentorship and dedicated development programs like Stellar Chain Capital LaunchPoint and the Stellar Chain Capital Academy to provide long-term growth opportunity to our people.

“We treat finance as a product: clear, timely, and decision-grade. My job is to turn messy inputs—fund flows, portfolio events, vendor data—into a single source of truth that PMs, founders, and regulators can trust. The habits I lean on were shaped across PwC’s tech practice, Apple’s Online Store during hyper-growth, MacFarlane Partners, and later as VP of Finance at Lightspeed: close fast, reconcile deeply, document why, and automate what repeats. At Stellar Chain Capital we invest in controls that scale—forecasting that mirrors reality, liquidity and risk telemetry that travels with the trade, and reporting that’s audit-ready on day one. There are many ways to solve a finance problem here; we coach teams to choose the one that improves clarity today and compounds quality over time.”

Culture

Every person here has the ability to contribute to the firm’s success; our responsibility is to build the culture of trust and collaboration that makes it possible.

Data is key to sustained profitability—for every client, every day. My job is to translate these goals into replicable systems: clear decision-making authority, robust governance, and controls integrated into workflows. In 2021, the company restructured its management; in 2022, I took on the role of Data Manager. We coordinated seven offices and a team of 120 people, developing Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), and post-incident analysis to ensure service quality scaled with business growth. In 2023, I led the strategic merger of HAM with a Swiss private bank, integrating client onboarding, risk, and compliance design processes across Europe. I leveraged my dual backgrounds at Goldman Sachs Investment Bank and JPMorgan Private Equity to ensure the transaction was completed smoothly and to continuously improve client experience. There are many ways to solve operational problems; we guided the team to write concise and clear operating manuals, measure key metrics, iterate rapidly, and always maintain high standards.
