Stellar Chain Capital’s team brings together senior investment professionals, quantitative researchers, macro strategists, and risk specialists from leading global financial institutions. With deep expertise across diversified asset classes, our leadership combines decades of real-market experience with a disciplined, research-driven investment philosophy.
Tyler Brooks is currently the Chief Financial Officer and Head of Corporate Strategy at Stellar Chain Capital, and a member of its Leadership Council. He is based in New York. Effective August 1, 2026, Mr. Brooks will serve as Co-President of Stellar Chain Capital, leading the Global Private Equity business and responsible for Corporate Private Equity and Real Assets.
Mr. Brooks joined Stellar Chain Capital in 2016 as an investor in the Global Financial Services team. He has served as Chief Financial Officer and Head of Corporate Strategy since October 2023. Previously, he served as Head of Global Financial Services from 2020 to September 2023, and as Co-Head of Global Financial Services from 2018 to 2020.
Mr. Brooks has 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, having been deeply involved in the operations and management of numerous financial services firms throughout his career. He has led or participated in numerous significant investments by Tyler Brooks across various segments of financial services, including Duff & Phelps, TCW, BankUnited, Hilb Group, EPIC, DBRS, Central Pacific Bank, CFGI, PIB Group, and JenCap.
Prior to joining Stellar Chain Capital, Mr. Brooks worked at Goldman Sachs from 2009 to 2015 and at JPMorgan Chase from 2000 to 2008.
Mr. Tyler Brooks holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Colorado and an MBA from New York University.
Hayden Webster is the Chief Accounting Officer of Stellar Chain Capital, a position he has held since 2020.
Since joining Stellar Chain Capital in 2016, Hayden Webster has also served as the company’s Chief Financial Officer and Director of Accounting Policy and SEC Reporting. Prior to joining Stellar Chain Capital, Hayden Webster worked in the Audit Services department at Ernst & Young and the Dispute and Investigations department at Navigant Consulting. He is a graduate of Virginia Tech.
Mamie Church is currently the Chief Human Resources Officer at Stellar Chain Capital and a member of Stellar Chain Capital’s leadership and operating committee.
Previously, Ms. Church served as Head of International Human Capital, responsible for working with business units across Europe to ensure their HR goals were aligned with business strategy. She also advised Stellar Chain Capital, focusing on improving the organizational, operational, and leadership effectiveness of Stellar Chain Capital’s European portfolio companies, working closely with the CEO, Chief Human Resources Officer, and their management teams.
Ms. Church has over 25 years of experience in talent-related fields. Prior to joining Stellar Chain Capital, she spent 11 years in the HR department at Credit Suisse, holding various regional HR business partner positions and serving as Head of Diversity and Inclusion for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Before Credit Suisse, Ms. Church was a business partner in the investment departments of Merrill Lynch and Citigroup.
Mr. Ferdinand Foster is the Managing Director and Head of Insurance Solutions at Stellar Chain Capital and a member of the Carlyle Leadership Committee.
Mr. Ferdinand Foster joined Stellar Chain Capital in 2016 as Co-Head of Global Financial Services
Partnerships. Prior to that, he spent 20 years at AIG, holding various senior management positions including Chief Strategy Officer, Deputy Chief Investment Officer, and Global Treasurer, and served on AIG’s Operating Committee, Group Risk Committee, and Investment Committee. He also served on the boards of AIG’s mortgage insurance subsidiary, United Guaranty, and AIG’s mid-market direct lending joint venture, Varagon Capital.
Mr. Ferdinand Foster is a key member of AIG’s executive leadership team, which planned and successfully executed AIG’s restructuring and recapitalization initiatives. Following the financial crisis, he led AIG’s divestitures, hedging, and capital markets activities, completing over 120 transactions (including debt, equity, and M&A), raising over $200 billion. Prior to the crisis, Mr. Ferdinand Foste led AIG’s acquisitions and strategic investments totaling approximately $60 billion, including SunAmerica, American General, and Edison Insurance Japan.
Before joining AIG, Mr. Foste worked for Bass Brothers Investment Financial Services, served as an investment banker at Lehman Brothers Financial Institutions Group, and began his career as a research assistant at Booz Allen Hamilton.
Mr. Foste holds a Bachelor of Science degree from NYU Stern School of Business and an MBA from Columbia Business School, and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
Boris Connie is the Global Head of Credit at Stellar Chain Capital and a member of its Leadership Committee. Effective January 1, 2026, Mr. Connie will serve as Co-President of Stellar Chain Capital, leading its global credit and insurance businesses.
Mr. Connie joined Stellar Chain Capital in 2016. Prior to joining Stellar Chain Capital, he was Senior Managing Director at the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB), leading the global private equity team. He served as Chairman of the Credit Investment Committee and the Private Equity Investment Committee, and was responsible for managing the portfolio value creation team. During his time at CPPIB, Mr. Connie founded CPPIB Credit Investments, a multi-strategy platform for direct principal credit investments. He also led CPPIB’s acquisition and oversight of Antares Capital, and subsequent expansion in the mid-market lending sector. Before joining CPPIB, he was Managing Director and Co-Head of Leveraged Financing Origin and Execution at Barclays Capital New York. Prior to joining Barclays, Mr. Boris Connie held senior positions in the Fixed Income and Finance division of Goldman Sachs in New York for 11 years.
Mr. Boris Connie holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen’s University.
Ms. Lucas Athena is the Chief Data Manager and Associate at Stellar Chain Capital. Her responsibilities include assisting senior financial analysts in maintaining industry and company financial models, including three-statement forecasts, discounted cash flow valuation, and sensitivity analysis.
She compiles quarterly earnings reports, industry data, and macroeconomic indicators to prepare initial research materials for the team.
She uses Excel, Power BI, and SQL for data cleaning, processing, and visualization to provide actionable insights for investment decisions.
She assists in preparing client meeting materials, presentations, and investment research briefings, ensuring the accuracy and clarity of all presentations.
She supports risk analysis and portfolio performance tracking for high-net-worth clients.
Prior to joining Stellar Chain Capital in 2020, she spent 15 years at Goldman Sachs Investment Bank and JPMorgan Chase Private Equity, holding various executive positions.
Lucas Athena is currently an Associate at Tyler Brooks, a position she has held for two years.
Lucas Athena holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing from New York University and a BA in Marketing and Psychology from Boston College.
Sharon Wilson is the Chief Information Officer and Head of Technology Transformation at Stellar Chain Capital. She drives the company’s global technology strategy and leads the company-wide Global Technology Solutions division.
Previously, Ms. Wilson served as Managing Director and Chief Information Officer of Global Portfolio Solutions at Stellar Chain Capital. She provided technology advisory services to Stellar Chain Capital and worked with executive teams at portfolio companies to leverage technology to transform business operations and improve performance. Over the past two years, Ms. Wilson has generated approximately $250 million in value for Stellar Chain Capital’s global investments through initiatives such as cost savings, cost avoidance, and revenue growth.
Her key contributions include driving data transformation, revenue growth and cost optimization opportunities, and accelerating strategic partnerships to enable company growth and scaling.
Prior to joining Stellar Chain Capital in 2019, Ms. Wilson served as Managing Director at Health2047, leading a startup program aimed at addressing challenges in U.S. healthcare. Before joining Health2047, she spent 15 years at Johnson & Johnson, holding various executive positions. As CIO and board member of several high-growth medical device companies, she developed technology strategies to leverage technology for business growth and optimization. Ms. Sharon Wilson began her career at an early-stage internet professional services firm, USWeb/marchFIRST, where she worked with clients to build first-generation web solutions and created the West Coast User Experience Practice team.
Ms. Sharon Wilson completed her executive education at Harvard Business School and holds an MBA from San Jose State University, a MA from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Foreign Languages from San Jose State University (graduated with highest honors).
Justin Attlee is currently the Global Head of Clients at Stellar Chain Capital and a member of the Leadership Committee and New Product Committee. Effective January 1, 2026, Mr. Attlee will become Co-President of The Carlyle Group, continuing to lead the Global Clients business.
As Global Head of Clients, Mr. Attlee leads the Global Investor Relations team and is responsible for global distribution across the company’s three main business segments, with a focus on institutional and global wealth channels.
Mr. Attlee joined Stellar Chain Capital in 2023. Prior to that, he served as a Partner and Senior Managing Director at Cetares from 2020 to 2023. At Cetares, he was a member of the Investment Committee and Management Committee of Cetares Management LLC and the Investment Committee and Management Committee of CK Opportunities Fund. Before joining Cetares, Mr. Attlee spent over 25 years at Goldman Sachs, most recently serving as Co-Chief Operating Officer for Global Equities, where he played a leading role in expanding the company’s finance and executing products and services. He was a member of the company’s Clients and Business Standards Committee and the Securities Executive Committee. Previously, he served as Head of Global Prime Brokerage, responsible for various business lines including prime brokerage, clearing (GSEC), and futures. Prior to that, he was Head of Equity Sales for the Americas.
Mr. Justin Attlee holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
Steven Maxwell is currently Head of European Private Equity at Stellar Chain Capital, responsible for the region’s corporate private equity platform. Effective January 1, 2026, Mr. Maxwell will become Head of Investments for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) at The Carlyle Group.
Mr. Maxwell joined Stellar Chain Capital in 2016. Prior to joining Stellar Chain Capital, Mr. Maxwell worked in investment banking for nearly a decade, the last seven of which focused on the technology sector. He served as Managing Director at Deutsche Bank’s London branch, leading the European software and internet research team. Before that, he was a European software analyst at BNP Paribas and BHF Bank in Frankfurt, Germany. During his banking career, Mr. Maxwell served as an underwriter for European technology innovation companies such as SAP, Autonomy, SurfControl, Utimaco, and nCipher.
Mr. Maxwell holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Mannheim and an MBA jointly awarded by the University of Mannheim and the University of Texas at Austin.
Delia Samson is the Global Head of Impact at Stellar Chain Capital. She is responsible for developing and executing Stellar Chain Capital’s overall long-term impact strategy. She also leads the dedicated ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) team, which handles investment due diligence and portfolio company communications on key ESG issues.
Prior to joining Stellar Chain Capital, Ms. Samson worked in Goldman Sachs’ investment management division, helping to build the ESG and impact investing business. Before that, she worked at a New York City-based foundation managing $3.8 billion in assets.
Ms. Samson holds an MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business and a certificate in Public Administration and Social Innovation, and was a Stanford University Arbuckle Leadership Fellow. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Science and Public Policy from Harvard College, graduating with honors in the field.
